
The FFA will be doing the annual BBQ fundraiser at the school on October 29th from 11 am to 3 pm! To-go BBQ sandwich plates, with all the fixings, will be $10 each. We will have tables set out if the weather is nice. If you'd like to preorder a smoked boston butt for $35, message the FFA's facebook page or Mr. May! The preorders will be available the 28th. Get them before they sell out again!

The Junior Class Second Annual Ragball Tournament was a huge success. Mr. Vacante begun this fundraiser last year to support the students, and it continues to be successful due to his organization and dedication. Thanks to everyone who came out to participate and enjoy the lovely day. A special thanks to Shannon Sherrill for volunteering. In addition, much gratitude is owed to the Bank of Salem for sponsoring the winner's t-shirts.

On Saturday September 23 the Viola bands travelled to Jonesboro to participate in the ASU band Day. We enjoyed being able to practice and perform with A-State Bands at the halftime of the Southern Mississippi game.








Reminder : Viola Elementary Fall Festival , Friday October 6th. Location will be at the Viola City Park and times are from 6 to 8 pm. There will be Games for all ages as well as concession stand. Ticket's will be sold at the entry gate and are priced as follows : $ .25 per Ticket or a bag of 20 Tickets for $ 5.00. Hope to see you then !

Viola High School Robotics Team - Mechanically Challenged is pleased to announce their final intake meeting of the 2023-2024 season. Your last chance to get in on the action is Friday, October 6.
7-12 grade students can join us in Mr. T's room after school until about 5pm for the informational meeting. Remember this is your LAST CHANCE!!!


Viola Junior and Senior Beta Club elected representatives represented our school at the Leadership Summit in Hot Springs this week. Students in both Junior and Senior Clubs participated in Collaboration Connections and qualified to attend the National Leadership Conference in Savannah, Georgia, in June! Congratulations to all members of Viola Beta Club for representing our school in the areas of leadership and service!


Congratulations to the Viola Boys golf team on a successful season! The boys finished 6th overall in the State Tournament at Mountain Ranch Golf Course. They were only 13 strokes behind the second place team.

Braden Williams finished 2nd overall today in the 1a State Golf Tournament! Braden shot a personal best 78 at the Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Fairfield Bay. With this score, he qualifies for the State Overall Tournament at Pleasant Valley in Little Rock on October 12th.

Junior Class Fundraiser


Next up is Melinda Wray. Melinda is a 2004 Viola graduate. She went to college and graduate school to become a Physical Therapist.


Second graders took Text to Self connections to another level! We are thanking the Garner's for bringing Oreo to meet us!




Ceramics began with slab construction and a windchime project. Some are still in progress, but the results are great so far!
