The VES students had great success with Accelerated Reader during the first quarter. There were many students who meet the goal. We rewarded all of those who met the goal with an ice cream party today. I believe they all had a great time and enjoyed the ice cream. We are proud of you guys. I encourage all students to keep reading. We are making plans for the second quarter reward.

Senior, Kevin Sanders, just put in his application to Harding University! Great job and good luck!

Very proud of all Longhorns tonight, and especially impressed with Addison Luther. She did a phenomenal job singing the National Anthem.

We all had a great time at the Viola Elementary School Fall Festival this year. There was a great crowd. The weather was great, a perfect fall evening. I hope everyone was able to visit, play games and have fun. Thanks to the Viola community for coming out and supporting the Viola Elementary School.
