
The grace period for receiving free lunches based on last year’s application expires on Tuesday, September 26.
Several families with students will have to start paying for lunches unless their families return the lunch application ASAP (https://www.violaschool.k12.ar.us/documents/lunchroom/356979)
Families can also qualify for a drawing for Dollar General gift cards, just for filling the lunch application.
Call 458-4003 on Tuesday if you have any questions about your family’s eligibility.

Come Join the fun for the annual Viola Elementary Fall Festival, Friday October 6th.

It was a great day to be a Longhorn on the golf course Tuesday!! The Viola Girls and Boys golf teams finished first place today! The boys finished with a team score of 293. The girls finished with a team score of 344. Braden Williams shot a 90, which was good enough for first place. Ryan Stone finished tied for 2nd with a 98, and won the playoff hole to earn the 2nd place medal. Aiden Perry finished with a 105 to finish 4th overall. Gavin Blevins shot a 110 and finished 6th overall. Emily Martin shot a 111 to take first place overall. Kailey Hallmark finished 2nd with a 113. Haylee Crotts was 3rd with a 120. And Shaydon Waltrip was 5th with a 122. The girls will compete in state next week on September 26. The boys will compete in state on October 2nd. Thank you to the Viola Booster club, coaches, volunteers, and parents who helped monitor the event and provide food and drinks for the athletes. Also, thank you to Josh Jackson and the Turkey Mountain Golf Course for letting host the event in Horseshoe Bend.






Grandparent breakfast was a great success! Thanks to all who came and ate breakfast with the kids. It is great to see the support that you are providing for your families. You do make a very positive difference in the kids lives. I hope everyone was able to enjoy the event. I am certain that the kids were proud you were here to eat and share time with them.

Just a reminder that parent/teacher conferences will be held today from 12:00-6:00. During conferences the robotic team will be grilling and selling hamburgers and the junior class is hosting a car wash fundraiser. We look forward to seeing everyone!
