Please help welcome Coach Leslie Henderson to the Longhorn Corral! Henderson comes out of a year long retirement from a 35 year career at Watson Chapel. During her time there, her teams won 13 conference championships and 5 state championships in basketball, along with 4 conference championships and 5 state championships in track. Her husband, Joe, is President of Petter Supply in Paducah, Kentucky. They have twin daughters, Hannah Henderson and Mimi (Reed) Hill.
We're so glad to have you, Coach Henderson, and we look forward to the upcoming basketball season!

The Sports physicals that were originally scheduled for April 24th have now been rescheduled for May 13th in the High School gym.
Viola School District will hold a special called board meeting on Friday, May 9th at 5:00pm in the school administration building (building H).

Our athletes represented Viola at the 1A Region 2 Conference Track Meet in Harrison, Arkansas
Andrew Ponson did a fantastic job with 1st place finishes in:
• 100 Meter Dash
• Long Jump
• Shot Put
Missy Wilson also did an amazing job, earning:
• 3rd in the 800m Run
• 1st in the 3200m Run
• 4th in the High Jump
Taylor Richardson earned a strong 6th place finish in the High Jump as well.
Our Viola Girls Relay Team—featuring Aryanna Allen, Missy Wilson, Taylor Richardson, and Ceanna Counts—put in a great team performance, placing 5th overall!
Very proud of these athletes and their accomplishments. Great job representing the Longhorns!
