The tornado warning has been lifted and students have returned to class. The plan is to load buses and release school at normal time.
Please know the storm shelter at Viola School District will be unlocked this evening.

At this time Viola School District students are in the safe rooms. Please do NOT come to check out a student at this time. If you come to school we will ask you to shelter with us. The current warning ends at 3. We will send something else out after that time.

The Viola School District is carefully monitoring todays potential for severe weather. There is nothing more important to us than the safety of ALL students and adults. We will continue to monitor the weather over the next few hours. At this time we feel like school is the safest place we could be. We are fortunate to have FEMA rated safe places to go on school campus. We have a storm room to utilize. We have plenty of room to keep everyone safe! We ran a tornado drill yesterday afternoon. We plan on having a full day of school. If that changes, we will let you know.

The Viola School District held its 7th-grade science fair, where Vivienne Pingel earned 1st place, Willow Vacante secured 2nd place, and Braylynn Heikes took 3rd place. We are grateful to our judges for their time and support. Our elementary students had the opportunity to view the impressive science fair projects, sparking excitement and curiosity among them. We also had the 8th-grade solar system projects on display. This was a great opportunity for students, and a lot of fun was had by all!

9th graders showed off their haiku skills in Mrs. Guffey's class this week with the top four poets winning a soda and candy bar. Congratulations to these students!
Braxton Howell:
Golden sun sets low
Waves whisper to silent shores
Night dreams in moonlight
Arizona Rodriguez:
Grief's loud yet silent
Void fills the air willingly
Memories fade fast
Justice Steward:
She said she loved me
Her lies running deep as roots
Wish I would have known
Aaysha Trueman:
Tears on empty streets
Love's warmth now a fading glow
Loneliness remains

REMINDER: Viola School District WILL be in session on Monday, March 31st. This is a makeup because of the snow. Happy Friday. Have a great spring break everyone.

Second graders loved learning about pollination! They each designed and made a pollinator of their choice. They then used their pollinator to demonstrate how pollination works by going from flower to flower around the room.

Attention students and families! 🌟
Our school will be closed for Spring Break from March 24th through March 28th. Enjoy your well-deserved time off!
However, please note that we WILL have school on Monday, March 31st due to the inclement weather make-up day.
Have a safe and relaxing break! See you all back in class on March 31st!

On Wednesday, the Elementary Quiz Bowl team competed in an all day tournament at ASUMH (hosted by Mountain Home public schools) playing 7 games and winning more games than they won last year! Many games were close and it made for a very exciting day of answering tough questions. So proud of all these kiddos! They put in a lot of work practicing after school and studying on their own time. Great job kiddos!
