Remember Viola School will make up one of its snow days tomorrow, Monday, March 25th.

Congratulations to 8th graders Rhett Robbins and Braxton Howell for competing this past weekend on Greers Ferry Lake. They will continue their fishing season next on Lake Norfork. Good luck Longhorns!

To celebrate Pi Day in a fun way, Mrs. Gardner challenged her students to remember 100 digits of Pi.
Journey Vacante, Mikayla Miller, and Morgan Newberry successfully completed this challenge and was able to pie Mrs. Gardner! Congratulations, girls!

Viola School buses will be running at 3:30 today to get ahead of any storms that may be entering the area after school today. Pickups can be made at that time, or at 4:00 if parents can't get to school early.

Happy Pi Day from Ms. Hammond's class! How else could you celebrate Pi Day without enjoying a slice of apple pie?

Congratulations to the following JR and SR Longhorns on their postseason awards!

Congratulations to the following JR and SR Lady Longhorns on their post season awards! Great job ladies!

Elementary Quiz Bowl participated in their first ever tournament on Wednesday. It was a long day of answering really hard questions! I do believe they learned a lot and were excited to be there!

Seniors,
Don't forget to be getting scholarships filled out and completed. Deadlines and graduation are fast approaching! Please sign up for a time with me if you need help. Get any completed scholarships to me so that we can get them mailed in or turned in. You should also be checking on your college of choice's website for any scholarships available through the school and get applying for those. Deadlines are fast approaching for that as well!
Also, it is very important to get your FAFSA completed if you have not done so yet. It is necessary to go to college. You HAVE to do it. If your parents need assistance, they can call me or Mrs. May.
Come see me any time and we can meet then or set up a time to meet. After Spring Break I have a few school trips planned but otherwise will be on campus everyday!! The last 8 weeks will go FAST!!!

The girls invited a few friends to also attend with them. They got to hear from women in different careers and walk around to different booths to see what career options are available for women!

To avoid delaying the end of school by 4 days just to makeup one required day, the Viola School District will be OPEN on the Monday after Spring Break, MARCH 25TH.

Beta Club students Ryleigh Golden and Hunter Belvedresi have designed Beta Club trading pins that are now officially for sale on their student-created website: www.violabeta.org.

Today's softball game with Walnut Ridge has been cancelled due to the possibility of bad weather this afternoon. There's no make up date at this time.

Tomorrow we begin the ATLAS test. This is the new state test for arkansas this year. I hope that our Viola Elementary students are able to do very well. Tomorrow we will be giving the writing portion of the test. It will be given to grades three through six in the elementary school. We are planning to start the test at 8:30 and they will have the entire day to complete it, if needed. The english, math, and science portions, of the ATLAS test, will be taken the first week in May.
Please help us out by ensuring the kids get a good night's rest tonight, are well prepared for taking the test, and are at school on time.
These are important days. Parents and community thank you for all of your support, it is very appreciated.

Seniors, just a reminder that Ms. Gracie will be taking senior group pictures in the morning starting at 8:15. If you do not have a scheduled first hour class please report to Mrs. Muchmore's room until Ms. Gracie is ready to start pictures.
