Viola Elementary School Recognized for Exceptional Academic Growth
Viola Elementary School has been recently recognized by the University of Arkansas Office for Education Policy for outstanding student achievement.
VES received two awards based on our students’ growth in English Language Arts (ELA).
VES was recognized as a “Beating the Odds” school due to the high percentage of students who met their growth goals in ELA.
VES is ranked #2 in the Northeast Region of Arkansas and #8 in the state among all schools that met the University of Arkansas’s criteria.
These awards highlight our focus on academic growth. The Office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas believes that “growth is the best indicator of the positive impact that your school is having on students.”
